A-Active Named to Inside Business's 'Roaring 20s' List

The award honors businesses in Hampton Roads, Va., that exhibit revenue and employee growth as well as make significant contributions to the local economy.

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – A-Active Termite and Pest Control has been named to Inside Business' 2011 Roaring 20s list. The company was recently honored at an awards celebration at the Westin Hotel in Virginia Beach, Va.

The award honors businesses in Hampton Roads, Va., that exhibit revenue and employee growth as well as make significant contributions to the local economy.

Eligibility includes being headquartered in Hampton Roads, experiencing annual revenue growth from 20082010,
and having reported gross revenues of at least $2 million in 2010.

"AActive is proud to represent our area as a growing company that positively impacts our economy," says Kevin Kordek, owner.

Kordek is an Entomologist and graduate of James Madison University with more than 27 years in the pest control industry. He is the immediate past president of the National Pest Management Association.
