BROOKLYN, N.Y. — AP&G recently introduced the all-new SilenTrap ILT by Catchmaster. The SilenTrap is a freestanding plug-in unit that features a 13W UV bulb. The device is extremely lightweight and can be easily moved from location to location to assist in knocking down outbreaks or “hotspots.” The front grill can be removed for unit maintenance, bulb replacement, and cleaning. Replacement boards simply slide through the slot on top of the unit. The SilenTrap is designed for use in areas where large or heavy-duty ILT’s may not be needed. With this concept in mind, the SilenTrap is a discreet and economical option that is suitable for use in locations with low to moderate fly populations, such as, counters, commercial kitchens, garbage rooms, or wherever flying insects are an issue.
