AMBLER, Pa. — Allergy Technologies, maker of ActiveGuard Mattress Liners, has released a new video on YouTube titled “ActiveGuard in Action” showing the speed and performance in which the product kills bed bugs after contact.

In the video, bed bugs are introduced onto a box spring that is covered with the ActiveGuard mattress liner fabric. After only 20 minutes the bed bugs start demonstrating the effects of ActiveGuard and after only one hour, the bed bugs are completely immobilized and do not recover thanks to ActiveGuard, Allergy Technologies reports.

NEXT STOP: NATIONAL APARTMENT ASSOCIATION EXPO. Allergy Technologies also announced that ActiveGuard Mattress Liners will be on display at the National Apartment Association’s (NAA) Educational Conference and Exposition in Las Vegas June 24-25, 2011. Allergy Technologies, manufacturer of ActiveGuard, will be in booth #533.

ActiveGuard Mattress Liners are the first EPA-registered mattress and box spring covering that actually kill bed bugs dead within 72 hours of contact and continuously beyond the bed bug's life cycle. According to Joseph Latino, director of Technical Services for Allergy Technologies, ActiveGuard mattress liners deliver a strong tool for owners and managers of multi-occupancy dwellings (MODs) looking to remain bed-bug free.
