Arrow Exterminators Honors Top Performers

The company’s Impact Player of the Year and Manager of the Year were recognized at Arrrow's annual kickoff meeting.

ATLANTA – Arrow Exterminators kicked off its 2011-2012 fiscal year with its annual Managers’ Meeting held at the Starkey Thomas National Training Center in Woodstock, Ga. This two-day event also celebrated achievements from the prior fiscal year capped off with the presentation of two annual awards, the John C. Millican Impact Player of the Year Award and the Starkey Thomas Manager of the Year Award.

The John C. Millican Impact Player of the Year Award, given in recognition of the most valuable contribution to the company, was presented to Brantley Russell, regional vice president and Eric Gabe, service center manager. “Historically, this award has always gone to one individual. However, with such a phenomenal performance by so many this year, it was my honor to present this award to two deserving individuals,” said Emily Thomas Kendrick, CEO and president.

Russell was an integral part of the largest merger in Arrow’s history in addition to successfully leading his region and Gabe’s leadership and dedication have strongly impacted the growth of Arrow’s dynamic organization over the past ten years. Kendrick added, “Brantley and Eric are outstanding team players and play critical roles in the success of the company.”

Additionally, The Starkey Thomas Manager of the Year Award is given to a service center manager who exhibits strong leadership skills in the categories of growth, profit, people management and attitude. This year’s recipient was Tommy Giardino. “Tommy is such a deserving individual and his positive attitude, tenacity and leadership style have made a positive impact on his colleagues and customers,” said Kendrick.
