Traci Thornton is responsible for market planning and program development for all of the company’s services.

ORLANDO, Fla.  — Massey Services announces the appointment of Traci Thornton to director of marketing.  In her new role, Thornton is responsible for market planning and program development for all of the company’s services, which include pest prevention, termite protection and landscape services.

Thornton has a strong background in marketing management, planning and project development. Prior to joining Massey Services, Thornton worked in the highly competitive telecommunications industry for United Telephone, Sprint, Embarq and CenturyLink.  Thornton also teaches courses in marketing strategy and management at the University of Phoenix/Central Florida campuses.

“Her knowledge and experience in new market development, brand management, segmentation and digital marketing complements our company’s strategic direction.” 

Thornton has a BBA in Marketing from Valdosta State University, an MBA in Entrepreneurship from Nova University and is a graduate of both Leadership Orlando and Leadership Winter Park.  In 2010, Thornton was recognized as one of the 12 “Women to Watch in 2010” by Orlando Women’s Magazine.
