Hoffman’s Announces Acquisition

Hoffman’s Exterminating has acquired Luvin’ Bugs Termite and Pest Control of Exton, Pa.

| January 2, 2013

EXTON, Pa. — William Hoffman, president of Hoffman’s Exterminating, announced that the company has acquired Luvin’ Bugs Termite and Pest Control of Exton, Pa. Bryan Levengood has been owner and operator of Luvin’ since 2002 and has proudly built the company from the ground up.  He knows every customer personally and has cultivated great relationships through the years.

In 1990 William Hoffman had the same vision and launched Hoffman’s Exterminating from scratch.  Year after year Hoffman’s Exterminating has enjoyed steady growth but exceptional growth comes through acquisitions.  Hoffman and Levengood were introduced to each other by Brian Smith of Univar at the NPMA Eastern Conference last January and started to exchange ideas.  It was quickly apparent that this was a “win-win” for both parties.  “Acquisitions are essential for aggressive growth but the companies must have the same values, vision and quality of service,” said Hoffman.  “This was an excellent fit.”

The Mantua based business continues to grow with its recent expansion in Mays Landing, N.J., headed up by Vice President  Bob Schwenker, and the expected opening up of the Exton Pa. branch, led by Levengood.

“So far, it has been a very smooth transition,” Hoffman said. “Bryan will be an extremely important part of the Pennsylvania territory.  He knows his customers and will continue to provide the excellent service they have come to expect.  Bryan will help with service production, sales and management.  Ultimately, he will be responsible for our growth in this region.  We not only acquired a premier company but have added an exceptional team member.  We are very excited about this new venture.”
