Betty Adams, who formerly owned Alexandria, La.-based Adams Pest Control along with husband and industry legend Paul Adams, died on Feb. 20. She was 88.

ALEXANDRIA, La. — Betty Adams, who formerly owned Alexandria, La.-based Adams Pest Control along with husband and industry legend Paul Adams, died on Feb. 20. She was 88.

She was a member of the 1st United Methodist Church, Alexandria, United Methodist Women, she served on the board of the Salvation Army and Y.W.C.A, and was a member of the Eastern Star, the Opti-Mrs. Club and the D.A.R. for over 60 years.

Survivors include son John Paul Adams, his fiancée Debbie; a daughter, Jayne Elizabeth Rhodes, her husband Ashley; and two grandchildren, Lauren Collins and Chris Adams.
