Copesan Changing Relationship with NE Service Provider

Copesan Services will be ending its relationship with Pugliese Pest Solutions, Utica, N.Y., as a result of their recently announced purchase by Rollins.

MENOMINEE FALLS, Wis. — Copesan Services will be ending its relationship with Pugliese Pest Solutions, Utica, N.Y., as a result of their recently announced purchase by Rollins, Inc. (Orkin). This decision will involve the transition of Copesan’s national accounts to other Copesan Partners along with the repurchase of Copesan stock.

“We certainly respect the decision of owners Rick and Francis Pugliese to sell their family-owned business,” said Deni Naumann, president of Copesan. “However, we are sad to part ways with Pugliese, who has been a valued Copesan Partner in the Northeast since 1992 and a shareholder since 1996.”

As a result of Copesan’s ongoing Partner expansion strategy to ensure redundant service coverage in all areas, “We are pleased to share that the current Pugliese service geography is well-covered by current Copesan Partners, which gives us the ability to transfer our accounts to proven local service providers dedicated to Copesan’s high quality standards,” stated Naumann.

Leadership from the Copesan, Pugliese and Rollins organizations will work together on the transition of the business and associated timelines. “Our primary focus at this point is on the smooth and methodical transition of the Copesan accounts to their new service Partner and on maintaining uninterrupted, quality service at every client location,” added Naumann.

“I would like to recognize the significant contributions the Pugliese family has delivered for the betterment of Copesan. We will miss the friendships with the Pugliese team and wish them the best in the next chapter of their business,” said Alfie Treleven, Chairman of the Copesan Board of Directors.
