DES MOINES, Iowa — Ten pest control companies from Central Iowa sponsored the “Bed Bug Strategies” workshop for apartment owners and managers, June 7, at the Izaak Walton League, Des Moines, Iowa.
Speakers included Dr. Stuart Mitchell, PestWest; Dr. Donald Lewis, entomologist for the State of Iowa; James Dotson, Bayer; and Jeff Lipman, attorney and judge. The speakers addressed how to manage bed bugs on a budget.
Approximately 50 attended the first of several planned seminars. As the bed bug problem continues to escalate the need for education becomes even more critical.
