Bug Off Pest Control Center to Present Seminar on Building Wealth for Life

PCO Business owners are looking for ways to grow their business more quickly with fresh ideas that will increase their top and bottom lines.  As part of Bug Off Pest Control Center’s Business Leadership Workshop series, attendees will spend an evening with Daniel S. Gordon, CPA, the General Partner and founder of PCO Bookkeepers. Dan is an industry veteran who brings over 20 years of experience in accounting, operations and managing high-growth pest control companies.  He has personally been involved with building pest control companies that are worth millions.

The meeting agenda includes discussions on pricing services for profit, developing effective and profitable route management, Profit and Loss Statement analysis and measuring return on marketing efforts.

The Workshop will be held on Feb. 24, 2011, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Saint Rose School Auditorium, 517 West 164th Street and Saint Nicholas Avenue, across from Bug Off’s Showroom in Manhattan.  Cost is $35 and refreshments will be served. The deadline for registration is Saturday, February 19, 2011.

ScottsMiracle-Gro Signs Definitive Agreement to Acquire Action Pest Control

The Scotts Miracle-Gro Company announced that its subsidiary EG Systems, Inc., doing business as Scotts LawnService, has signed a definitive agreement to acquire the assets of Action Pest Control, Evansville Ind., which ranked 56th on the 2014 PCT Top 100 list, with annual revenues of $11.6 million. The transaction, which is expected to close by January 2015, would mark Scotts’ first acquisition of a structural pest control business.
