BROOKLYN, N.Y. — Paul Calabrese, owner of Abolish Pest Control Services, which services the New York City area, has authored "The Bad Bug Book," a picture book that differentiates the many household pests through pictures and rhymes.

Insect, rodents, and other animals come in many different shapes and sizes. But when these curious creatures invade the homes, cause damage, or spread disease, people call them pests. And that is what this picture book is all about. Calabrese talks about sneaky stingers, creepy crawlers, biting buggers, ruthless rodents, freaky flyers, and other pests of all sizes through wonderfully rhymed verses and colored illustrations in "The Bad Bug Book."

"The Bad Bug Book" is a helpful tool in teaching children about the different bugs and other pests that invade the homes and disrupt people’s lives. With the use of amusing poetry, it teaches children which insects and animals are considered pests. Short, humorous, and engaging, this story is packed with colorful characters with different backgrounds and four-line factual summaries that rhyme.

From ants to termites and everything in between, this original, well-illustrated, and informative book gives children and adults a humorous look at pests that might be bugging them and why people call them pests. For more information on this book, log on to www.thebadbugbook.com.
