DALLAS — Cantu Enterprises, parent of Express Services, McKinney, Texas, announced the acquisition of Carrollton, Texas-based Impact Pest Services.

Impact Pest Services currently serves approximately 1,400 residential pest and termite customers throughout the DFW Metroplex. Ben Tanner, owner of Impact Home Services, said, "I sold to Express because of their history and reputation for superior customer service as well as my desire to perpetuate the sales and service culture my team and I created at Impact." Tanner will continue to operate businesses in Boise, Idaho.

Don Bridwell, vice president and general manager for Express Services, added, "We are excited about the addition Impact Pest Services brings to the Express family. Ben and his team have built a great business with a passion for serving customers. It's exactly the type of company culture we have at Express and it makes for a great partnership. We look forward to working with Impact Branch Manager Zach Glass and the entire staff from this fine company."

This marks the fourth acquisition Cantu Enterprises has completed in the Dallas-Fort Worth market. Cantu Enterprises began its entry into the Dallas market in 2009 with the acquisition of Express Pest Control, McKinney, Texas, followed by the acquisitions of Complete Pest Control and Discount Pest and Lawn.

"This is the continuation of our strategy to make investments in the Dallas-Fort Worth market as well as other major markets throughout the Southeast," said Albert Cantu, chairman and CEO of Memphis, Tenn.-based Cantu Enterprises Holdings. Cantu is the former president and COO of Terminix International and an executive partner at Waud Capital Partners, a Chicago-based private equity firm.
