Cascade Among Fastest Growing Seattle Area Companies

REDMOND, Wash. — Cascade Pest Control ranked #34 in Puget Sound Business Journal's Eastside 50 Fastest Growing Companies.

The Puget Sound Business Journal (PSBJ) announced its annual list of the 50 fastest-growing private companies on the Eastside, and Cascade Pest Control was ranked 34th.

"We are delighted to have been the only service company to rank in a decorated field of outstanding software developers, banks, consultants and other ‘white collar’ firms," said Don Leland, general manager of Cascade Pest Control. CASCADE ACQUIRES BIOTECH PEST CONTROL. Treftz, also announced that Cascade has acquired BioTech Pest Control, formerly of Lakewood, Wash. BioTech Pest Control was founded by Mel Lopas. Lopas will continue as a route technician for Cascade Pest, bringing his customers with him. “Cascade’s reputation for providing high quality service was the main reason why I approached them,” Lopas said. “I’m glad to be a part of this rapidly growing company, and know that my customers will be happy also.”

BioTech’s customer base was in south King and north Pierce counties. “Having Mel join us launches us into a geographic area that we haven’t previously serviced,” said Don Leland, general manger, Cascade.

“We welcome the opportunity to extend our high quality services to our newest group of customers, and are thrilled to be expanding our customer base throughout King. Snohomish and now Pierce counties,” said Treftz.
