MADISON, Wis. – Santa Fe Products, a division of Therma-Stor, will introduce the the Santa Fe Crawlspace Alert at the PestWorld 2010 Trade Show, held in Honolulu, Hawaii.

The Santa Fe Crawlspace Alert is designed with the pes management professionals in mind. The Crawlspace Alert continuously monitors a variety of conditions in the crawlspace, which are critical to maintaining and preserving a customer’s home, safety and comfort.

If the Crawlspace Alert detects high humidity levels that encourage mold, mildew or fungal growth, the orange warning lamp will light signaling the homeowner to contact their pest control professional. If a power surge or failure occurs, resetting their Santa Fe equipment will not be necessary. Their Santa Fe dehumidifier, the condensate pump and the Crawlspace Alert will immediately resume operating at their previous settings as soon as power is restored. And finally, in the event that the condensate pump switch is tripped for any reason, the Crawlspace Alert will automatically turn the dehumidifier off in order to prevent water from overflowing into their crawlspace.

The Santa Fe Crawlspace Alert mounts to a floor joist near your customer’s Santa Fe dehumidifier. The warning light can be conveniently located either inside or outside the home.

Kathie Mau, Pest Control Account Manager of Santa Fe Products noted, “The Santa Fe Crawlspace Alert gives you and your customer peace of mind by monitoring the conditions of their crawlspace 24 hours a day, visually alerting them to conditions that warrant contacting their pest control professional, and safeguarding their home and family.”
