LOCUST GROVE, Ga. — Evans Termite and Pest Control, Locust Grove, Ga., won first place in the “most creative” category for its display in the town’s Scarecrow Village titled, “Along came a spider.”

Evans won last year’s competition with a bed bug display. This year, the huge hay-filled spider was the attention grabber. Evans used the old nursery rhyme theme "Little Miss Muppet" to create "Along came a spider."

Evans uses local events, like Scarecrow Village, to make bugs fun, while informing the community of bug awareness.
