FMC Names Amy O’Shea Director, Professional Solutions

O’Shea is a 14-year FMC veteran and former general manager for the company’s Agricultural Products Group (APG) in Mexico.

PHILADELPHIA – Amy Gabrielian O’Shea was recently named director, FMC Professional Solutions, a business unit of FMC Corporation. O’Shea is a14-year FMC veteran and former general manager for the company’s Agricultural Products Group (APG) in Mexico. She began her new position in mid-July.

O’Shea steps back into FMC Professional Solutions (FPS), where she began her career with FMC, to continue the aggressive growth pattern started under previous director, Dan Rosenbaum. Recently named general manager of pharmaceuticals within the FMC BioPolymer organization, Rosenbaum had been part of the APG and Professional Solutions since 1995. He played a key role in developing FPS growth strategy as well as leading merger and acquisition activities for the past three years.
During her three years as general manager, APG Mexico, O’Shea greatly enhanced the organization’s focus on marketing, sales, product innovation and closeness to customers. She drove three consecutive years of sales and EBIT (earnings before sales and taxes) growth.
Prior to her stint as general manager, O’Shea was marketing manager for APG Mexico for three years. Previously, O’Shea held various positions in sales and marketing within the FMC Professional Solutions group. 
“I’m very pleased that Amy will be leading Professional Solutions,” said Milton Steele, vice president and group manager, APG. “She will bring great energy, creativity and insights to the organization.”
Carlos Jurado was named the new general manager for FMC APG in Mexico.
