Florida Bed Bug Boot Camps Reminder

BedBug Central, in conjunction with FPMA, is offering the two-day courses March 11-12 in Orlando; and March 14-15 in Ft. Lauderdale.

BedBug Central, in conjunction with the Florida Pest Management Association, is offering a pair of two-day, intensive bed bug educational programs, in Florida this March. Dates and locations are:

March 11 – 12, 2013 – Orlando, FL
University of Florida IFAS Orange County Extension office

March 14 – 15, 2013 – Ft. Lauderdale, FL
University of Florida IFAS Ft. Lauderdale REC office, Davie, FL

Description: The programs will focus on the knowledge needed to create, run and manage a successful bed bug program including an introduction to BedBug Central’s Limited Prep protocol, which virtually eliminates prep work for clients while still achieving bed bug elimination. In addition, Dow will be presenting a seminar on the role fumigation plays on bed bug control at both boot camps.
Sessions include:
    Bed Bugs 101- Basics of bed bug biology, behavior, history, etc.
    Bed Bugs 102- Protocol Overview- technical aspects of treating bed bugs
    Bed Bugs 201- Tools of the Trade- live demonstrations of the tools and how to use them
    Bed Bugs 301- The business of bed bugs

Whether you are a pest control operator, property manager, facilities manager or otherwise involved in detection, prevention or remediation of bed bugs, these sessions are designed to help you and your staff understand and implement a more effective bed bug strategy.

Taught by Jeffrey White and other instructors from BedBug Central, this is unique opportunity to learn in an interactive and hands-on environment.  In addition to the educational sessions, there will be a product/services showcase including exhibits from the leaders in the bed bug industry.

The boot camps are sponsored by Dow AgroSciences and Forshaw.

FPMA Members: $265 Regular
Non-FPMA Members: $375 Regular.
Fee includes two days of sessions, exhibits, continental breakfast, lunch and refreshments.
