This week’s poll question is “Which of the following is the most effective mousetrap lure?” Cast your vote at www.pctonline.com/polls.aspx. Explain your choice. How does the account and/or situation impact lure choice? Which lures did I leave off the list? Any trial-and-error stories?

I guess its First Strike soft bait and glue boards. I mostly use bait stations for mice.

Detour gel on potential entry points, combined with Mini T-Rex traps baited with peanut butter. Wipes out populations quickly.

Nutella . A few years ago I put out some glue boards and then had to get more from my truck. When I came back in 3 minutes a mouse was on the board.

I've never seen anything like FirstStrike. Based on how well it's worked, I don't think the rodents have either. Amazing product.
