The key is to educate the customer as to expectations. There is nothing, despite manufacturers claims that kills the pupal stage, therefore you cannot promise elimination immediately, that would be stupid and false. You do not need that promise to sell a job. You can promise elimination within 4 weeks of the initial treatment. Being realistic creates happier customers. Just saying.

I gave customers a checklist, specifying vacuuming that they needed to do, and spelling out what they could expect. I always told them to wait at least 21 days for results. Doing this, I seldom had to go back.

Or do you just not know anything about the products that you sell. Nematodes are small but still visible worms. Any treatment with them would have the side effect of worms crawling everywhere. Secondly they would require a moist environment to live in, which hardwood floors are not. Get educated before you comment.

I dusted the baseboards, treated the bottoms of fabric furniture (couches, chairs, box springs) with Alpine or Ultracide and recommended they have the animal treated. Then I spread some Demand G in the yard, because that's where the fleas where actually active. And yes the standard 3-4 weeks waiting period. I also recommended tossing any bedding or stuffed animals, pet bedding in a hot dryer for 30-60 mins. Aaron G.
