Have you used owls, snakes,frogs,etc In attics for roof rats How about motion detector devices with sound effects (dog barking,etc)

I've never heard (or tried) of using them for rats, but Purdue has shown visual repellents like owls and snakes don't work with bird control. I say try it though!

Charles, a guy on jerrys blog (pestcemetery) apparently has some miracle for getting rid of mice. Maybe you can sweet talk him into sharing it
