I need some advice from other pest professionals. When you do your general qt pest control service, do you include nuisance ants like sugar ants, crazy ants, ghost ants. Or rare these ants not included and require a separate charge and separate fee? Trying to get different opinions. Thanks Scott McGrath

We include all ants but carpenter and fire. I have seen contracts from other companies that exclude pharaoh ants also.

I am wondering - if you include 2 applications of Termidor to the exterior each year, why would you not include all ant species?

For one, including a WDI on quarterly pest control carries too much liability. Second, Termidor around the foundation of a structure does nothing for the fire ant mounds around the yard.

What sort of liability issues would arise?

I would consider structural damage a major liability.

You have some wicked ants where you are Scott, I'd at least charge a trip fee or surcharge. I do that with rodents and fleas and always charge more for power sprays when needed.

I was just wondering, so my post. I don't do regular Termidor applications, so I was just wondering. I also know that applications are not the only consideration.
