Any advice on how to get rid of silverfish? I'm located in the Pacific Northwest and we get maybe one call a year for silverfish, but we have one house that we just cannot get rid of them. Any insight would be much appreciated.

Reduce moisture content inside, running a dehumidifier can be helpful. The use of insecticides are an option but if the conditions inside are ideal for silverfish you may find the activity returns as your insecticides break down.

Reduce moisture in a bathroom where you shower with hot water every day? I dont think so. Try niban under the sink, it has worked well for us, and in the attic if necessary.

Yea, I agree with Paul-- I use Niban FG in a puff duster and you can do recessed lighting, around attic entry, etc.etc. I'd say silverfish paks, but I'm not convinced they work.

If client is seeing the silverfish mostly on the second floor, they are probably nesting in the attic. Try Intice granules. Work great. You can apply it with a power duster

Hi Dennis - Baiting c&c with moist food nails them.
Here, near Heaven, in Colorado we can apply to "the pest or the site" according to label directions. So if the roach label is okay for applying to that location, I can use it for silverfish. Way back, that's how we found out that fipronil was wicked on ants; we baited for roaches and all the ants died too.
Hey Brandon - any feedback?
