| August 15, 2011

DALLAS — HomeTeam Pest Defense announced it has earned the coveted “Partners of Choice Award” from builder, David Weekley Homes.  HomeTeam is the first pest management company to receive this illustrious award.
The company received an “A” rating for quality in David Weekley Homes’ ongoing Supplier Evaluation System.   This is the first year HomeTeam has won the award and is only one of seven companies to earn the “A” quality rating this year.   This recognition puts HomeTeam in the top 5 percent of all suppliers to the nation’s second largest privately held homebuilder, David Weekley Homes.

“We are honored to receive this award from David Weekley Homes and to earn an “A” quality for our products and services,” said Dirk Korte, vice president of builder sales with HomeTeam.  “This award represents the hard work and dedication of all HomeTeam employees.  We are very proud of this outstanding accomplishment and view David Weekley Homes as a valued builder partner.”

The annual awards are based on Weekley’s National Trading Partner Survey, a review of 150 suppliers by company employees.   Suppliers are rated on quality, service, price and relationship response.  Now in its eighth year, the Partners of  Choice Award becomes increasingly challenging to attain.  According to Bill Justice, vice president of supply chain services, “This achievement is about the best of the best who deliver quality to our team members. Our survey is a standard for measuring world-class effort.”
