J. Edwards Services Acquires North Fulton Pest Solutions; Names Baker Operations Manager

ATLANTA - Joseph Edwards, CEO of J. Edwards Services, has acquired North Fulton Pest Solutions in Alpharetta, Ga.  Edwards states “As a former client of our acquisition and consulting firm, we saw this as a perfect fit for establishing and launching a new player that could expand and compete regionally in a substantially short period.”

As former executive vice president of Mergers & Acquisitions as well as New Business Development for Arrow Exterminators, plus various management positions with Orkin, Edwards possesses a successful track record in growing businesses both organically and through acquisitions.  He continues to utilize his talents by consulting with other pest control firms on growing their business and increasing profit margins.  In addition, J. Edwards Services, continues to assist both buyers and sellers of pest control firms with mergers, acquisitions and family transitioning.

Edwards added, “We are ecstatic with our new venture. Our plans will include expanding throughout the state of Georgia and neighboring states over the next 5 to 10 years. We want to continue building on the outstanding reputation that’s already been established by previous owners, Hal Coleman and Pat Maddox.”  Hal Coleman will maintain the role as the on-staff Entomologist and continue in a consulting capacity. The company has already launched a new advertising campaign that includes the unveiling of a new logo and freshening of the name to North Fulton Pest Solutions.

BAKER TAKES THE HELM. Sammy Baker has accepted the role as operations manager of North Fulton Pest Solutions. Baker’s proficiencies in both the manufacturing and the pest control arena make him a perfect fit for the expansion plans for North Fulton Pest Solutions (NFPS).  As the past manager of Builders Services Division for the Nisus Corporation, Baker possesses immense technical knowledge for various termite and pest product lines. 

Baker’s expansive resume includes previous positions as the vice president of the Pre-Construction division for Arrow Exterminators and the general sales manager of the Pre-Treat Division for Palmetto Pest Control in South Carolina.  In addition, Baker has held various management positions within Orkin.  

Baker’s extensive experience in the pre-construction market and overall expertise in the pest control industry provides NFPS with a nucleus to grow our business to new heights.  President Joseph Edwards, states, “We are very excited to have Sammy join our team.  Sammy is a great addition to our company and his vast expertise is an immeasurable commodity.”
