TWINSBURG, OHIO – In keeping with its mission of supporting the professionalism of the pest management industry through useful, environmentally conscious tools and pest education, J.T. Eaton & Co. once again sponsored two scholarships through the entomology department of Purdue University, West Lafayette, Ind.

Mahsa Fardisi and Steven Smith have been named this year’s recipients of the Twinsburg-based manufacturer’s scholarships. Fardisi, who received a $1,500 scholarship, is a graduate student from Shiraz, Iran. Smith, an undergraduate student from Bluffton, Ind., received a $1,000 scholarship.

Both students were presented with their scholarships during the recent Purdue Pest Control Conference Banquet at the Purdue University campus in West Lafayette, Ind.

“We believe that Purdue has one of the strongest entomology programs in the country, and its students in turn become quality professionals who truly care about not only their customers, but the environment,” says Dale Baker, vice president of J.T. Eaton. “We consider it an honor to support the program, because it does a great deal to advance the professionalism of the industry.”
