ALBIA, Iowa — Kness Mfg. Co. announced Jessica Z. Bassman as its new director of sales and marketing. In her new role, Bassman is responsible for leading the company’s sales and marketing efforts both domestically and internationally. She replaces Steve Cooper.

Bassman comes to Kness after having worked in market management positions with Sealy Mattress Company, Johnson Diversey and Berlin Packaging. She has experience developing successful marketing programs, strategic business plans and educating her customers and co-workers.

“We are delighted that Jessica is our new director of sales and marketing,” said Kathy Kness Wauson, president of Kness. “Jessica brings an electrical energy to our team that will make her very successful and a great asset to our company.”

Bassman is excited about joining the Kness team. “The opportunity to work with such a well known and respected organization is truly an honor,” she said. “People joke about ‘building a better mouse trap,’ but I have found, and now work with, the actual company that does build the best mouse trap.”
