LG Life Sciences and Rockwell Labs Announce Collaboration

Supplier News

LG Life Sciences announced a marketing and distribution arrangement with Rockwell Labs Ltd.  Effective immediately LG Life Sciences is collaborating with Rockwell Labs to help promote LG branded products Lambdastar 9.7% CS and Fenvastar Plus.

Patrick F. Callahan, national sales and marketing manager, LG Life Sciences said, “Rockwell has developed a team of six veteran sales people who provide national coverage for visiting with PMPs and distributors around the U.S.  The Rockwell team knows the pest control market, and the products that will best help PMPs control pests.”

Dr. Cisse Spragins, CEO of Rockwell Labs Ltd., said, “We have been interested in this market space, as there are certainly pests that are not amenable to control with baits, and we have always talked about the use of residuals as part of the integrated strategies we always promote. Like Rockwell, LG excels at formulation technology, and the green twist their products offer are in line with our overall strategy. For us, it seemed like an ideal fit.”

Callahan added, “Collaborating with Rockwell provides LG the field sales team that we need, and it provides Rockwell with the residual liquids that fit their perimeter protection and fly control programs.”

Pest Management Professionals will still buy LG Life Sciences products through their distributor.  Distributors will be able to combine Rockwell brands and LG brands together when they place their orders with Rockwell.  This strategy provides benefits to distributors so that they can order more products from one supplier to meet order and freight minimums. PMPs benefit because distributors should always have stock. Distributors may also continue ordering from LG Life Sciences.
