Liphatech announced the opening of a new soft bait production line at its Milwaukee headquarters.

MILWAUKEE, Wis. – Liphatech announced the opening of a new soft bait production line for both FirstStrike and Resolv soft baits at its Milwaukee, Wis., headquarters.

Until the beginning of 2012, all Liphatech soft bait was produced in Europe, the company said. Liphatech cited a need to keep ahead of increasing demand and a desire for increased flexibility as reasons for the manufacturing change.

Planning and testing was extensive in order to ensure the same formula could be developed domestically, Liphatech said.

“We first set up our machine in France and tested manufacturing using U.S. sourced ingredients,” said René Jiménez, operations manager, Liphatech. “Once we were certain that the process was working smoothly, we shipped the machine back to the states and reassembled it in our U.S. facility.”
