WALL TOWNSHIP, N.J. — Marathon Data Systems, a leading developer of office management software and field-force automation software for the field service industry, announced the immediate availability of the new Multi-Unit Commercial Service Module for PestPac Software customers. The bed bug epidemic is growing rapidly in the U.S with no end in sight. In the past few years, bed bugs infestations have increased at an alarming rate in motels, hotels, and homes across the U.S. This translates into increased demand for pest control service from the owners and managers of apartment complexes, condominiums, college dormitories, hotels, hospitals or office buildings nationwide, creating both huge opportunities and challenges for pest management professionals.

“Providing effective pest control service to clients who manage or operate multiple unit buildings is complex and challenging, and with the onset of the bed bug epidemic, it’s becoming a larger part of our customer’s business,” said CEO Chris Sullens. “PestPac customers already lead the way in finding solutions to solve the bed bug service puzzle but they’re constantly looking for additional solutions to make servicing thee properties easier and more consistent. PestPac’s Multi-Unit Service Module provides an important new tool for PestPac customers, allowing them to streamline the setup and improve overall service performance in this growing service segment. The Multi-Unit Service Module is another example of how Marathon Data Systems blends customer input, industry knowledge and technology to provide the tools its customers need to win in the marketplace.“

The Multi-Unit Commercial Service module is fully integrated with PestPac, PestPac Mobile and the company’s Premium Customer Portal, reducing training ramp time and making it extremely convenient and cost effective to use right out of the box. With this module, customers can automate follow up service and task management for Bedbug Services, set up hundreds of units in multiple building within minutes, store unit-specific contact information for tenants, and much more.
