Edyth Bush Charitable Foundation Adds Harvey Massey to Board

The foundation has issued 3,090 grants to more than 400 organizations throughout the state, primarily in Central Florida, totaling nearly $100 million.

WINTER PARK, Fla. — The Edyth Bush Charitable Foundation recently elected Harvey L. Massey to its esteemed Board of Directors. Massey, a respected leader in the pest management industry for 49 years, is the owner and CEO of Massey Services, Orlando, Fla. Massey is also the Chairman of Massey Communications, a full service advertising, public relations, design and strategic marketing agency established in 1985.

Throughout Massey’s career he has served in a variety of professional leadership roles and received numerous accolades. He is also an active member of his community having served as the Chairman of the Winter Park Memorial Hospital Foundation Board, Director of the Center for Advanced Entrepreneurship at Rollins College and Chairman of the Orange County Arts and Cultural Affairs Task Force. Massey’s dedication to local philanthropy also sparked a personal pledge towards the upcoming Dr. P. Phillips Orlando Performing Arts Center.

The Edyth Bush Charitable Foundation was created in 1973. Since then, it has been enriched by the Richard J. Conlee Fund and the H. Clifford Lee Fund. To date, the Foundation has issued 3,090 grants to more than 400 organizations throughout the state, primarily in Central Florida, totaling nearly $100 million. Though it does not actively solicit outside donations, the Foundation will work with philanthropists to achieve their charitable goals. Board members are Gerald F. Hilbrich, Chairman; Herbert W.
