In Memoriam: Dr. William Jackson
The pest control industry mourns the loss of Dr. William B. Jackson, a world-renowned bird and rodent expert who was a faculty member at Bowling Green State University for more than 25 years and former executive director of Pi Chi Omega. Jackson passed away on July 15, at age 83.

NYC Looks to Stop Spreading Bed Bug Infestations
One of every 15 New Yorkers battled bed bugs last year, officials said as they announced a plan to fight the spreading infestation, including a public-awareness campaign and a top entomologist to head the effort.

PestWorld 2010 – The Event for International Delegates
Frances McKim, editor and publisher of U.K.-based Pest magazine, writes that NPMA PestWorld 2010, scheduled for Oct. 20-23, in Honolulu, Hawaii, provides international delegates with an opportunity to meet contacts and customers from around the world in one venue.
