MADISON, Wis. - Santa Fe Products, a division of Therma-Stor, introduces the Santa-Fe Total Encapsulation Solution. As pest management professionals know, moisture control is a very important piece of the integrated pest management puzzle. This is especially true with homes featuring crawlspaces. Santa Fe now offers a complete moisture control package designed with the PMPs in mind, even for the most challenging crawlspace environments.

The Santa Fe Total Encapsulation System, which will be featured at PestWorld 2010, includes the following: your choice of top quality commercial-grade or professional-grade vapor barriers made in the USA of reinforced polyester, polyethlene material for unsurpassed durability; an industry-leading Santa-Fe Dehumidifier appropriately sized for the application; a complete sump pump kit, including a 15 gallon sump pump, radon approved basin with plumbed check valve and anti-float plate; a sump battery backup kit; a condensate pump kit with 20 ft. of drain hose; and an encapsulation installation kit (high quality seam tape, foun¬dation sealing tape, industrial strength caulk, mechanical fasteners, and a roll of felt 550) to ensure a permanent, quick, professional installation every time.

In addition, the Total Encapsulation Solution features the company’s innovative Santa Fe Crawlspace Alert, which enables remote monitoring of the crawlspace from the comfort of your customer’s living space. The Crawlspace Alert also disables the dehumidifier if the condensate pump safety switch is engaged, preventing water from overflowing in the crawlspace. And, finally, if the Crawlspace Alert detects high humidity levels that encourage mold, mildew or fungal growth, the orange warning lamp will light, alerting the homeowner to contact their pest control professional.
