TUCSON, Ariz. — Truly Nolen of America announced the recent promotion of Darlene Cohen to vice president of human resources. She will monitor and evaluate administrative staff, and provide high quality customer service-based leadership.

Cohen began her career with Truly Nolen in 1980 as a receptionist in Phoenix Valley. She moved up the rankings and became the office manager in 1983, and in 1987 added Phoenix Valley branch supervisor to her list of titles. After working at Truly Nolen for over a decade Cohen accepted a branch manager trainee position at the new Sun City location. After four years of managing Sun City, it became No. 1 in the western region.

Cohen’s successful Truly Nolen career continued and in 1998 she became a district manager in Arizona. In 2004, Cohen changed from the operations side of the business to take on the challenge of becoming director of Human Resources.

“Darlene has years of experience and a unique perspective on what it takes to be an effective member of the Truly Nolen team,” said Scott Nolen, president of Truly Nolen. “She and her team are wonderful at what they do and act with tremendous integrity, regardless of the situation. Darlene continues to be a role model for both current and prospective employees, and we look forward to working with her for many more years to come.”

Truly Nolen also announced the recent promotion of Craig Hansen to branch manager in Sierra Vista. He will monitor and evaluate administrative staff and technicians, and handle the day-to-day operations.

Hansen brings 16 years of pest control experience to his new position. He joined the Truly Nolen team in 2009 and successfully completed the Manager-Training-program.

Before entering the pest control industry Hansen was an Army Paratrooper. He has experience with many pest control career positions including being a route technician, termite technician and a sales inspector.

“Craig showed quite impressive management and people skills during his MIT training classes,” said Shane McManamy, district manager of Southern Arizona. “I believe he will create wonderful opportunities for the Sierra Vista branch as the new manager.”
