TUCSON, Ariz. — Truly Nolen never underestimates the impact of a single act of kindness.

Staying true to their community-oriented reputation, Truly Nolen employees recently engaged in a week long program that resulted in them performing good deeds in key markets such as Arizona, California, Florida and Texas. This was all a part of the company’s inaugural “Good Citizen Week” program.

Committed to their role as “Good Citizens and Ruthless Exterminators” Truly Nolen employees exceeded their regular call of duty by performing hundreds of good deeds during the weeklong blitz. These subtle acts of kindness ranged from repairing flat tires for stranded motorists, handing out coloring books to children, buying people car washes and treating local patrons to a free cup of coffee and ice cream!

“Performing random acts of kindness is second nature to our employees here at Truly Nolen and we couldn’t be more proud of it,” said Michelle Nolen Senner, Director of Marketing and Advertising of Truly Nolen. “Being nice to people in the most unexpected ways has been a longstanding practice within our company, so I feel that Good Citizen Week further instills Good Samaritan-like behavior which is truly a win-win situation for our employees and community.”

In San Diego, Truly Nolen employees kicked off Good Citizen Week by invading the Historic Balboa Park with a special car parade, where Truly Nolen’s signature bright yellow Volkswagen Beetle mouse cars lined up the street. The employees gave back to their community by picking up trash and debris from the park’s picnic areas and providing free refreshments and hamburgers to the public.

“Kindness is contagious – and I feel Good Citizen Week serves as a reminder that each one of us has to do our bit in making our community a better place to live, work and play,” said Chris Waite, San Diego District Manager. “We remain dedicated to Truly Nolen’s core values, which includes embracing and driving change for the better.”
For a lasting impression, Truly Nolen employees provided community members with a special magnet with Truly Nolen’s contact information, along with a special discount for service.

The grassroots program will be reprised quarterly, with the next round of good deeds happening in May, to remind members of the community that although Truly Nolen employees are good citizens, they are also ruthless exterminators…here to protect you and your family from unwanted pests everyday.
