Entire Wil-Kil Operations Team Are ACEs

Wil-Kil Pest Control's entire operations management team have passed the Associate Certified Entomologist exam, a certification offered by the Entomological Society of America.

SUN PRAIRIE, Wis. — Wil-Kil Pest Control's entire operations management team have passed the Associate Certified Entomologist exam, a certification offered by the Entomological Society of America. As a result, Wil-Kil now has a total of 20 Associate Certified Entomologists on staff, this represents approximately 7% of the total ACEs in the United States to date.

This is a major step in Wil-Kil’s continuous effort to live their company vision bringing Integrity, superior service and solutions to surpass their clients’ expectations. “It is a very proud day for the entire Wil-Kil organization and a great day for all those who stood up and met the challenge with incredible results having 100% of participants pass and many with very high scores. As the proud general manager of this team, I would like to recognize 19 of my fellow team members,” stated Dale Bauerkemper.

Along with Dale Bauerkemper, Wil-Kil’s ACE’s are: John Aeschlimann, Randy Allen, Brad Bergum, Ben Blahnik, Gary Checkai, Robert Duell II, John Fortuna, James Gilbert, Scott Huntley, Thomas Majors, Ray Olschewski, Andrew Ruffi, James Schmitt, Bud Schultz, Joseph Simmons, Larry Smith, Joseph Tauchen, Russell Uttech and Shane McCoy A.C.E. – Wil-Kil’s Technical Training Director who provided the training., Dr. Jim Sargent, director of technical support and regulatory compliance at Copesan International, proctored the Web-based exam.

Associate Certified Entomologists (ACEs) are those who have passed at least one rigorous examination to test their knowledge. They generally specialize in pest control. ACEs also agree to ascribe to a code of ethical behavior, and – as part of their certification renewal process – must annually provide a copy of a current pesticide applicator’s license.
