SARASOTA, Fla. - Al Harris Pest Control was recently honored with the Sarasota Herald Tribune Readers' Choice Award for the ninth consecutive year, the firm announced. The Florida company was voted the area's No. 1 pest control company.

"I'm particularly thankful for our loyal customers and proud of my team's customer service efforts, in both the residential and commercial markets, which have enabled us to maintain such high ranking with those we serve in our community," said Al Harris, the company's president and CEO.

Harris also credited the firm's acquisition of two pest control companies, SWAT Pest Control in 2009, and PEST 2000 in August 2012, as reason for the firm's continuing success.
