ATLANTA – Atlanta-based Arrow Exterminators announced a new brand in the Arrow Family of companies. Current brands include Nader’s Pest Raiders, Hughes Exterminators and now Stark Exterminators.
“Growth always leads to opportunity,” said Emily Thomas Kendrick, president and chief executive officer, Arrow Exterminators. “With our recent acquisitions in North Carolina and South Carolina we had a unique opportunity to launch a new brand and chose Stark Exterminators. As we continue to grow nationwide and stay true to our mission — ‘…grow to be the largest family owned and operated pest control company…’ — we wanted to develop a solid brand to use in any market where there may be a competitive situation with the Arrow brand.”
“We chose Stark Exterminators because of the strong tie to our family,” said Kendrick. “We have three generations of ‘Stark’ in our family beginning with my grandfather, Starkey Thomas, who founded the company in 1964, continued with my father and current Arrow Chairman, Joe Stark Thomas, and my cousin, Starkey, represents our third generation. We have been family owned and operated since 1964 and honoring that family connection was very important to us.”
The look and feel of the brand will mimic the very successful parent brand “Arrow Exterminators.” “While Stark Exterminators will be the name of the company in some markets, all of our customers will continue to receive Beyond the Call service which Arrow is known for in the markets we service,” said Tim Pollard, chief operating officer for Arrow Exterminators.
