IAOCPI Announces Training/Certification Seminar

The International Association of Canine Pest Inspectors will be holding a canine team seminar and certification event Feb. 17-20, at the Days Inn, Manistee, Mich.

The International Association of Canine Pest Inspectors will be holding a canine team seminar and certification event Feb. 17-20, at the Days Inn, Manistee, Mich.

The event includes: Hands on training with each team , a minimum of 2 trainers/evaluators from the USPCA; continental breakfast included in rate at Days Inn of Mainstee; 2 lunches; 1 dinner; and certification exam following the IAOCPI guidelines.

Training will include very limited talks and an emphasis on hands on training and evaluation.
Seminar will include:
Eliminating false positives
Training techniques
Goal oriented training
Hands on training
Time with other professionals
Distraction training and more

The seminar is limited to 40 teams, so it’s important to register early.
