LAWRENCEVILLE, N.J. — As a company committed to increasing public awareness on the challenges that bed bugs represent for our country and the global community at large, BedBug Central has begun reaching out to international media outlets to educate other countries about bed bugs.

In the past month, Russian media outlets have shown a marked interest in bed bug infestations and increasing bed bug populations in both the United States of America and Russia. Most Recently, Jeffrey White, research entomologist for BedBug Central was interviewed by “Russian State Television and Radio – United Nations Bureau.”

You can watch White’s Russian debut in the video here. This video aired in Russia as well as North America, Israel and several countries in Europe. It should be noted that this interview is in fact in Russian, so even if you can’t understand it, the video is an interesting watch.

Before White’s interview with “Russian State Television and Radio,” Richard Cooper was interviewed by “Newsweek Magazine-Russian Bureau” about Russia’s emerging bed bug problem.

White’s most recent interview was prompted by his interview on the “Good Day New York” and their coverage on the closing of popular clothing stores Abercrombie & Fitch and Hollister due to bed bug activity and the subsequent treatment procedures.
