LAWRENCEVILLE, N.J. — Eliminex Pest Control, of Oakdale, N.Y., is the most recent company approved for bedbugFREE membership. Eliminex joins an expanding national network pest management firms committed to the guidelines and practices of BedBug Central.

Eliminex Pest Control was founded by urban entomologist Kevin O’Connor and has serviced New York’s Long Island area since 1983. As a president and entomologist for Eliminex, O’Connor was interested in becoming bedbugFREE for both the business advantages and insight into effect protocol.

“I was interested in becoming a bedbugFREE company for several strategic business reasons,” said O’Connor. “The document package alone is worth the time and effort to become members and saved us countless hours of trying to develop these resources on our own. Their website offers many bed bug control products, at discount prices for members, which we find extremely useful.”

Having attended several speaking events of BedBug Central’s research entomologist, Richard Cooper, O’Connor also acknowledges the importance of the bedbugFREE protocol being developed under a scientific and environmentally conscious approach.

bedbugFREE is a network of “like-minded companies sharing the philosophies of BedBug Central”. All companies undergo a rigorous screening process overseen by research entomologists Rick Cooper and Jeff White. Approved companies are then listed as bedbugFREE on Bed Bug Central’s website and in turn, receive referrals as part of the bedbugFREE network.
