ORLANDO, Fla. – Massey Services established a new record for its annual company-wide “MAD (Making a Difference) in APRIL” sales event last month, generating over 16,000 new units for more than $7.2 million in sales. This was a 29% increase over last year’s units and a 16% increase over the previous year’s sales figure. The two-day event was held in all seven states where Massey is located — Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Texas, South Carolina, North Carolina and Oklahoma – and included all 1,900 team members. For 17 consecutive years, Massey Services has held the event in April and each year the company has significantly exceeded expectations.
“Our entire team at Massey Services embraces our Mad in April sales event, which had a fun and engaging superhero theme this year,” said Tony Massey, President. “It is a fantastic opportunity for all of our team members to collaboratively work together and interact with our current and prospective customers.”
The two-day sales event, which builds comradery and team work, also provides friendly competition between Regional Management, Service Centers and the entire corporate team. Additionally, this event provides corporate team members the opportunity to learn more about the customers and field operations.
“Every year the bar continues to get higher and higher and our company always finds a way to surpass the previous year’s successes,” said Ed Dougherty, Executive VP and COO. “I’m so proud of our entire team for the hard work they put into the planning for this annual program and the excitement that is displayed by all our team members throughout the two-day event.”
