MIAMI - The Hard Rock Cafe in the Bayside Marketplace was ordered shut last week after a rodent ran back and forth across the kitchen floor during an inspection, Local 10 reported.
The inspector noted twelve violations at the restaurant.
Records show inspectors have been to the restaurant 11 times in 2016, and three of those of those times were based on a complaints. The average inspection rate for a restaurant in Florida is two times a year.
"We take great pride in the cleanliness of each of our cafes worldwide and have set the highest industry standard for our locations. We worked with the health department and outside companies and have corrected this issue," Hard Rock International said in a statement.
