READING, Pa. — Rentokil Steritech, a Rentokil North America company, finalized a deal to acquire Marysville, Wash.-based business Pratt Pest Management. The acquisition further expands Rentokil Steritech’s density in the Northwestern U.S. market. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Established in 1991 by Dana Pratt, who has led the business as president for the last 27 years, Pratt Pest Management has built a long-standing reputation as a provider of outstanding customer service to homeowners and businesses in Marysville, Camano Island, and surrounding Seattle metro.
"In the booming Seattle market, there is a need for expert pest control services for both business and residential customers," said John Myers, President and CEO of Rentokil North America, the parent company of Rentokil Steritech. "Dana and the entire Pratt Pest Management team are a terrific addition to our growing family of pest control experts, as they share our commitment to world-class pest control services and customer experience."
“The decision to retire and sell a business you spent 30 years nurturing is unquestionably tough. I feel reassured that I have made the correct decision in working with the Rentokil team. The entire management team and integration process has been impressive,” said Pratt of his decision to sell to Rentokil Steritech. "From the start, the Rentokil Steritech team has been focused on enhancing opportunities for our colleagues and expanding service offerings to our customers. Having a world-class team in the background administrating business functions allows the rest of us to focus on what we do best-providing effective, high quality, local pest solutions to our friends and neighbors.”
PCO M&A Specialists (a division of PCO Bookkeepers) acted as exclusive financial advisor to Pratt Pest Management.
