RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C. – Bayer Environmental Science has announced that Maxforce Quantum Ant Bait and Maxforce Complete Brand Granular Insect Bait are now registered and available for use in the state of New York.

“The timing of registration for these two new products is perfect because we’re enter the height of ant season,” says Gordon Morrison, Maxforce insecticides marketing manager for Bayer Environmental Science.  “Now PMP in New York will have better, more sustainable product options for ant control when they need them most.”

Maxforce Quantum, a new high performance, low impact, ant bait remains effective for up to three months – from one quarterly service visit to the next. The key to Maxforce Quantum’s long-lasting residual lies in its hygroscopic formula, which retains and absorbs moisture long after other competitive gel baits dry out, according to Bayer.  Quantum provides fast and effective broad spectrum control against many ant species, including Argentine ants, Pharaoh ants, ghost ants, black garden ants, odorous house ants, and crazy ants.  Maxforce Quantum can be applied as a crack and crevice or spot treatment from the convenient, 120 gram dropper bottle. Additionally, each case of Quantum comes with 120 Maxforce Refillable Buffet Bait Stations which enables pest management professionals (PMPs) to make their own bait stations.   These new bait stations are ideal vessels for Quantum as they further extend the attractiveness of the bait by protecting it from the elements, are easy to load and inspect, and are refillable for future use.

Maxforce Complete Brand Granular Insect Bait features a superior formulation for better bait acceptance.  The overall formula includes proteins, simple sugars, fats and complex carbohydrates.  However, granules within the formula contain different combinations of these irresistible food ingredients.  These combinations accommodate the changing food preferences of a broad spectrum of pests and deliver superior bait acceptance throughout the year.  Complete also contains a specially-calibrated range of particle sizes to suit a wide variety of different ants, cockroaches, crickets, silverfish and more.  This new Maxforce formulation delivers high performance results while maintaining the effective, low impact pest control required for sound IPM programs.  Maxforce Complete is ideal for crack and crevice, perimeter, mound and broadcast treatments, or in isolated interior areas such as attics or crawlspaces.
