All of the ongoing bed bug discussions are from the human perspective. A new video clip from ScienceFriday imagines what is happening from the perspective of bed bugs. Psychologist Kevin Ochsner, of Columbia University, was interviewed for the piece. Ochsner studies how people regulate emotion. He says "reappraising" a situation--for example, thinking about a bedbug in a new way--can help you get your fears under control.
