Rollins Inc. Reports Second Quarter and Six Month 2011 Financial Results

In the second quarter, the Company repurchased 533,012 shares at a weighted average price of $19.37 per share bringing the total number of shares repurchased year-to-date to 789,296 at a weighted average price of $19.22.

Atlanta — Rollins Inc. recorded second quarter revenues of $320.4 million, an increase of 7.2% over the prior year's second quarter revenue of $298.8 million. Net income increased 12.1% to $31.1 million or $0.21 per diluted share for the second quarter ended June 30, 2011, compared to $27.7 million or $0.19 per diluted share for the same period in 2010.

Rollins' revenues rose 7.3% for the first six months of 2011 to $592.1 million compared to $551.8 million for the prior year. Net income for the first six months of 2011 was $49.7 million, or $0.34 per diluted share, compared to net income of $45.3 million, or $0.30 per diluted share for the same period last year.
