ST. LOUIS, Mo. — BASF Pest Control Solutions’ 2011 Skill Development Seminar (SDS) kick off next month in Columbia, S.C.

“Each year during our SDS series we take a survey from attendees to find ways to improve the series for the next year,” said Brian Mann, marketing services manager, BASF Pest Control Solutions. “Last year’s survey revealed strong interest in expanding the technical topics and adding ways to improve business.”

The 2011 series will consist of five hours of technical sessions covering BASF SmartSolutions for termites, ants, cockroaches and flies. Information on selling and servicing with a value-added approach will also be part of the series. Registration will start at 7:00 a.m. and the sessions will begin at 7:30 a.m. and end at 3:30 p.m. Lunch will be served.

“It is so very important to our business to help our partners become more successful,” said Mann. “Their success is our success, so we want to continue to provide them with valuable information and education that helps them grow and sustain their businesses. Our Skill Development Seminars have been designed to do just that.”

These seminars are free to BASF customers. There is limited seating so attendance requires a reservation in advance. Visit www.pestcontrol.basf.us or call 908/864-5800, ext. 2177 to register.
