FMC is offering a “buy three, get fourth free” promotion for its Talstar Professional insecticide now through Nov. 30.
The promotion is valid on ¾-gallon and 1-gallon jugs of Talstar Professional. The promotion is honored at the time of purchase, making it a simple and cost-effective way for pest management professionals to save, FMC said.
Talstar is approved for multiple indoor and outdoor sites, including lawns and perimeters, industrial and commercial sites, on greenhouse plants and in food-handling areas. In addition, it causes no phytotoxicity and contains no plant-damaging solvents, the firm reports.
Pest management professionals who purchase two cases of Kaput Mole Gel Bait will get one case free, for a limited time. Kaput was developed to mimic a mole’s natural food source, manufacturer Scimetrics says. The offer is good through May 31.
Service Pro.net has made its ServSuite Mobile app available for the new Windows 8 operating system, the company announced.
With this update, ServSuite Mobile is now available to all Windows 8-based devices. Service Pro.net reports that ServSuite mobile is the only pest management software application available on all major operating systems being used on most mobile devices.
Companies now can access their database and files while out in the field. Everything they need in order to be more productive and more cost-efficient is now available on the go, the firm reports.

Liphatech has updated its Aegis-RP bait station for improved efficiency, effectiveness and convenience, the firm says.
Key enhancements include: SecureVTM technology, which reduces the ability of animals to free the bait; elevated horizontal rods to keep bait drier and fresher; new wall holes to provide versatile security options; improved drainage to keep bait drier and less moldy; and a ramped opening to make runway cleaning easier and faster.
Manufactured with recycled material, the Aegis-RP also is eco-friendly, Liphatech reports. “Our customers provided us with input on how to improve the Aegis-RP,” said Manny Martinez, executive director of Liphatech’s pest management division. “We strive to provide our customers with innovative solutions that improve their rodent control practices.”

Production of the 2013 Chevrolet Silverado HD and GMC Sierra 2500 HD bi-fuel pickup trucks is underway in Fort Wayne, Ind., and the pickups are available for order by fleet and retail customers through Chevrolet and GMC dealers, General Motors announced.
The Silverado HD and Sierra 2500 HD Vortec 6.0L V8 engine runs on gasoline or compressed natural gas (CNG) and seamlessly switches between the two fuels without affecting performance, GM says. The CNG and gasoline tanks have a combined range of 650 miles, according to GM.
“Customers are choosing our bi-fuel trucks because they provide the same high level of GM truck performance and versatility but can also help businesses control their fuel costs and reduce their carbon footprint,” said Ed Peper, General Motors U.S. vice president of Fleet and Commercial Sales.
The Type-3 single-tank CNG system in the Silverado HD and Sierra 2500 HD is designed to retain more bed space than any competing bi-fuel truck from an Original Equipment Manufacturer. The pickups are available in standard and long-box and two- or four-wheel drive in the extended cab models.
