Harrison will receive two business books recommended by PCT readers, "I Love You More Than My Dog" and "10 Ways To Stand Out From The Crowd."

RICHFIELD, Ohio – Vinson “Clark” Harrison, designated certified operator at Pest Control Development in Lawrenceville, Ga., is the lucky winner of two business books from PCT, “10 Ways to Stand Out from the Crowd” by Connie Podesta and Jean Gatz and “I Love You More Than My Dog” by Jeanne Bliss.

Harrison’s name was randomly drawn by PCT from a pool of entrants for July’s book giveaway.

Harrison and his wife Harriet have been in the pest control industry for over 40 years. Harriet Harrison said she and her husband started Pest Control Development in March of 1992, and have been enjoying the perks of owning and operating their own business since.

“The flexibility of owning the business, being able to be working pretty much when you want,” she said.

A “mom-and-pop shop,” as Harrison put it, Pest Control Development services primarily residential accounts. Though Harriet and Clark are looking forward to retirement, the relationships they have built with clients throughout the years has kept them in the business.

“All of our customers have become friends,” she said. “That’s what makes it so hard to retire.”

PCT periodically gives away books to online entrants. Check back at PCT Online for future giveaways.
