CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Steritech Group introduced its AuditReady Pest Prevention Program, a pest prevention service program custom-tailored to help the food processing, distribution and warehousing industries address the complex food safety requirements of government agencies, certification bodies and third-party auditors.

Steritech CEO Mark Jarvis announced that the company guarantees success with its AuditReady program, which is a comprehensive service and is particularly designed to withstand rigorous third-party audits.

“Because food safety is so often jeopardized by poor pest control, at Steritech, we believe that a solid pest prevention program is one of the cornerstones of a successful food safety and quality system,” he said.

Steritech’s AuditReady Pest Prevention service is performed by specially trained commercial pest prevention service specialists, all of whom are certified by the National Pest Management Association in Food Plant Standards.  As part of the program, Steritech management will perform detailed semi-annual quality assurance visits with plant or facility staff.

The company reported that the AuditReady Pest Prevention Program has been benchmarked against Global Food Safety Initiative standards and complies with all U.S. Food & Drug Administration, U.S. Department of Agriculture, Safe Quality Food, and British Retail Consortium food safety and quality standards.
